We all love cheeseburgers, especially ones cooked out on the grill. Choosing lean meats over over full fat meat is a healthier choice. Fast-food cheeseburgers may not be an ideal choice, but sometimes you're in a rush and the drive-through is unavoidable. In that case, it might come in handy to know how to choose the healthiest fast-food burger. You have all heard eating burgers is not healthy for you, but the nutritional value of your burger really depends on what’s in it. Fast-food burgers can be a good source of protein, but most are filled with saturated fat and sometimes the most unhealthy part of the burger is the highly processed, refined-flour bun.

According to Healthline, these are the better choices for fast-food cheeseburgers. I'm only including burgers less than 25 grams of fat, have at least 20 grams of protein, are fewer than 700 calories and are available nationwide.


Freddy's cheeseburger has 400 calories, 19 grams of fat, 26 grams of protein, 31 grams of carbs and 0 grams of fiber.


Wendy's Jr cheeseburger has 290 calories, 14 grams of fat, 15 grams of protein, 26 grams of carbs and 1 gram of fiber.


Wendy's Double Stack has 410 calories, 24 grams of fat, 23 grams of protein, 26 grams of carbs and 1 gram of fiber.


McDonalds McDouble has 400 calories, 20 grams of fat, 22 grams of protein, 33 grams of carbs and 2 grams of fiber.


Burger King's BK Double has 388 calories, 21 grams of fat, 23 grams of protein, 27 grams of carbs and 1 gram of fiber.


Whataburger's Double Meat has 420 calories, 20 grams of fat, 23 grams of protein, 36 grams of carbs and 2 grams of fiber.


And for vegans, the White Castle Veggie burger has 190 calories, 10 grams of fat, 5 grams of protein, 22 grams of carbs and 3 grams of fiber.


So pick your cheeseburger wisely and try to keep eating a burger to once a week!
