I drink 8 oz of pure cranberry juice everyday. I have found it help me fight urinary tract infections. Once you have a UTI, though it won't cure it. According to WebMD, cranberry juice is an excellent source of antioxidants, including vitamin C, providing 26% of your suggested daily allowance in an 8-ounce serving. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant, protecting cells and DNA from damage caused by molecules called free radicals. This may lower your chances of developing diseases such as cancer, heart disease, and more.

Your body uses vitamin C to build blood vessels, cartilage, muscles, and collagen. Getting enough of it supports faster healing after injuries. Vitamin C also helps your body absorb iron.

An 8-ounce glass of cranberry juice has approximately 20% of the suggested daily allowance of vitamin E, which is essential for the health of your skin, blood vessels, and heart.

For athletes, cranberry juice can help to provide fluids and electrolytes, although it is essential to choose 100% fruit juices, as many fruit juice drinks contain added sugars, which are not good. Studies have shown cranberry juice can also help ward off ulcers, gum disease and may manage rheumatoid arthritis. Avoid drinking too much cranberry juice especially if you are allergic to aspirin.

Eating cranberries are even more beneficial to your health than the juice. A 2011 study found that chemicals in cranberries promoted better antioxidant activity the lower their pH was.

So start your day with an 8 oz glass of cranberry juice or even better put some cranberries in your favorite smoothie.
